Born and raised in the Metro Richmond area, Ken Chin is an authority on his hometown -- but most importantly -- he understands exactly what his clients need from their Realtor. His philosophy is simple:
“Buying a home and home ownership, especially when you’re doing these things for the first time, can be really daunting. My specialty as a Richmond realtor is supporting and nurturing my clients so they feel secure in their decision and in their new home. I treat them exactly as I would treat a member of my own family,” says Ken.
After almost a decade of experience, Ken is a well-trained and resourceful Realtor. Ken understands all the components and outside forces that can affect any real estate transaction. He's not afraid to do the necessary homework to ensure that his client's needs are meet and their investment is protected. Ken prides himself on attention to detail, exceeding expectations and remaining a part of his clients' lives long after the paperwork is signed.
“Hard-working, honest and kind only just begin to describe his character … And I knew that once the deal was made, he would still be around to help me out whenever the need would arise. After it was all said and done, I have to say that Ken not only lived up to all my expectations, he actually surpassed them,” praises one of Ken's past clients.
Ken is a native of Mechanicsville, VA and a graduate of Lee-Davis High School. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business/Business Administration from VCU in 2006, Ken obtained his license to sell Real Estate in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2007. He's been guiding buyers, sellers and investors ever since.
When he isn't working, Ken's focus is on family. He and his wife, Van, live in Richmond's West End with their dog (Bingo) and cat (Yoshi). Ken is a fan of NBA and NFL and proud to call the Lions and Bengals "his teams." Ken is also fluent in Cantonese Chinese.
